PSR is a day service based on the principles of recovery. Provides a range of social, educational, occupational, and other activities to support service recipients with serious and persistent mental illness. The service is designed to help adults with psychiatric disabilities better manage the day-to-day activities of life through the acquisition of recovery and self-management skills.

Clinical and / or Medical hypnosis for pain management, habit control such as smoking or weight issues and phobias or fears of medical procedures, flying, etc.

Offers outreach and education to area middle school and high school students on a variety of topics, including suicide awareness, substance use disorder, interpersonal violence, and sexual assault.

Offers evidence based EEG neurofeedback/biofeedback program to improve the way individuals feel and function. Helps with fears, phobias, trauma, depression, addiction, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, PTSD, pain, and performance enhancement.

Depression program for older adults. Healthy IDEAS is an evidence based program that helps increase awareness of depression in older adults and ensure they get the help they need to manage symptoms. Coordinated through Senior Services Case Managers.

Family, community and workplace trainings offered on a variety of topics, including but not limited to: youth mental health first aid, suicide prevention, substance use/recovery, American society of addiction medicine, motivational interviewing, opioid overdose prevention and naloxone training, facts on homelessness, homelessness solutions, cultural diversity, welcoming diversity, working effectively with marginalized populations, customer service, trauma informed care.

Provides life coaching and therapy to help individuals understand and cope with mental illness. Teaches how to learn new skills, overcome life challenges, traumas, and promote healthy changes. Offers treatment and support needed. Works on current issues while learning from past experiences. Making positive changes and creating a support system. <br />

Provides training and education to both behavioral health service providers and community members in need of behavioral health resources and/or skills. For example crisis intervention, de-escalation, suicide prevention, and parenting. Grant funded trainings and support services, virtual and live, are free to attendees. Non grant funded trainings provided at a deep discount to non-profit organizations.

Educates patients, professionals, and the public concerning the nature of depressive, bipolar disorder (also known as manic depression) or mood disorder. Provides online support groups and parent community options across the country.

National

Provides mental health information on the following topics: getting help, statistics, clinical trials, outreach, research, opportunities for funding, and labs at NIMH. Provides links to descriptions of clinical trials, related to numerous mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, and depression.

A national family-run organization focused on the issues of children and youth with emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs and substance use challenges and their families.

Provides national certification for a family/parent peer workforce, known as Certified Family Peer Specialists™, to provide support to other families who have children with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges.

Government run website, in connection with The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Provides information, publications, and referrals for those with substance use disorders, to treatment facilities, treatment options, information on paying for treatment, and understanding addiction and mental health.

• Substance Use Disorder Referrals

Provides a community of people with mental illness who are working together toward a common goal, to get their lives back. Helps open new Clubhouses, accredits Clubhouses, trains and mentors new and mature Clubhouses, educates the public, advocates for government funding, and conducts research.

The mission of Recovery International is to use the cognitive-behavioral, peer-to-peer, self-help training system developed by Abraham Low, MD, to help individuals gain skills to lead more peaceful and productive lives.

Provides "QPR" (Question, Persuade and Refer) suicide prevention training to raise awareness about suicide as a problem in our community, identifies the most common causes of suicidal thinking, feeling and actions, and teaches the trainee three simple skills to help prevent the unnecessary tragedy of suicide. The program is available in Spanish.

A gatekeeper is anyone who is in a position to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and because of their training, knows what to do.

Training includes a QPR booklet for each participant, an expanded list of warning signs, and an expanded list of local resources. ( Fees are negotiated through QPR Institute.)

We also provide training for mental health professionals in suicide assessment and management and triage training programs for crisis lines and other first responders.
